The fish was tasty, nice presentation. The fries were soaked in oil and stuck together. The garnalen kroket didn't taste like garnalen.Quite a lot of space, open verandas and a good location. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–40 Food: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I asked if the fries were vegan, but it seemed they weren't sure.... And no sauce seems to be vegan. Maybe they have a vegan sauce, but I don't know....

Great service, great food, good location. Friendly staff. Gluten free options, but very little. Staff, however very helpful, has little knowledge about food allergies and what the options are and how to handle it. The food would be even more enjoyable if the terrace and the terrace of the neighbour ( same owners) are smoke free. In 2023 this should be the standard 👍👍 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a lovely dinner at De Babbelaar. The staff was friendly and relaxed. The KFC (korean fried cauliflower) we ordered for starters was delicious. After I ordered a salad with goat cheese, beetroot hummus and papadam - it was super tasty! My boyfriend ordered the burger with fries. He liked the meal. Wow what an explosion of flavours with the Lambshoarma a starter at De Babbelaar...I followed that with the fish and chips which where just perfect this is after all a seaside resort.. Very friendly and professional service with a smile well worth the money. This restaurant is wheelchair accessible and the toilets are nice and clean...too bad I didn't discover this place sooner on my stay. Oh I almost forgot the best....the dessert was both ingenious and tasty...the fresh taste of mint lingered over the chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

We've declared this place to have the best fries in all of the Netherlands! Of course, I haven't tried the fries at everyone place, but they're fantastic here - a great place to grab a snack or lunch while you're out exploring!

Food quality ok. Service terrible. The meal came but my daughter asked for ketchup with her chicken nuggets. The waitress then took a call on her mobile. I went to get some myself and was told no, they would bring some. Still time went by. Asked again and it was like I was being impatient but at this point we had all finished our meal. By the time the ketchup came and my daughter's food was cold. Our original waitress was still chatting on her mobile. This not a cheap place and service should be better. We left straight without ordering dessert. Disappointing end to what should have been a nice meal out for my birthday.
