The calamari and lamb were cooked to perfection and had a great flavor. The fixed menu for lunch is an absolute bargain, offering a three-course meal for 13.50 euros, including a glass of wine. The tapas starters were freshly cooked and the salad was a large dish of fresh vegetables. The mains were cooked on the barbecue and served with cooked peppers, aubergine, and French fries. Even the desserts were unusual and delicious. The house Rioja was also inexpensive and very palatable. With its rustic setting, great food, and welcoming atmosphere, Restaurante Armell is definitely worth a visit.
