We were on our way to San Antonio and pulled off the highway to buy something one of my siblings had requested. We were getting a little hungry and just happened to see their sign out of the corner of our eyes. We went in and found some of the VERY best BBQ on our trip. I’ve never heard of Rib Crib apparently it’s a chain. Being from NC I’m a huge fan of smoked hog, chicken, beef. I was super excited to try Oklahoma BBQ. Chain or not this place is fantastic. I had the two meat combo with pulled pork and brisket both of them were smoked perfectly. If you’re in town it’s worth a try. The only reason this place got 3 stars is because of the great customer service and the sweet tea was done correctly. When I found this place, I saw so many mixed reviews and I wish I had followed my gut. The food was over cooked and tasted rough, it made all of our stomachs hurt, which wasn't good for a long ride.The coleslaw looked old, the mashed potatoes were fine, but the brisket and ribs were severely over cooked, the kids Mac n cheese, chicken quesadillas, and chicken strips were fine. We had a long drive and were all very hungry and this was not the place for us- the portions were fine, but it left all 6 of us hungry and feeling queasy for the rest of the ride. As for pricing- it was well over priced for the portions served- we don't eat a lot as a family and the serving size we got was acceptable, but the price we spent here was unacceptable for what we got. We spent less money at Chili's and got more food. I'm sure it's not the establishment overall- that was clean and beautiful-but an improvement on food would significantly increase this place. Food was pretty bad but the service was good. Had brisket, sausage, and ribs with coleslaw and mashed potatoes on the side. I'd say the toast and mashed potatoes were alright but everything else was pretty bad. Meats were dry and flavors were somewhat bland. It was late on a Monday so maybe we just got leftovers. Just moved to the area, and was hopeful to be near some good BBQ. We gave ribcrib a shot, and we’re more than satisfied! We got 2 different bbq sandwiches, beans, okra, and wings. They were not skimpy on the sandwich meat at all either! We ordered through DoorDash and everything still arrived quick and hot (even with it snowing outside). The waitress was very nice. My issue is they waited until we sat down and ordered drinks to inform us they were out of RIBS AND CHICKEN due to selling 30 slabs of ribs to ONE customer. If they had told us as soon as we walked in we wouldn’t have waisted our time. I feel that it was a bad management decision to accommodate to one customer and leave the rest of your customers to suffer. I don't know if it's thatI am just use to Texas BBQ, but the brisket was dry even with BBQ sauce like it was left under a heat lamp. Sausage was good, beans and tea, oh good service. The smoked Bologna needed more smoke taste, but that naff be just me I love deep smoke. I don't know about the rest of their food. Just my experience. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The reviews here were mediocre but I liked the menu. So I tried to chance it. I ordered a Blue Moon on draft (they didn’t have oranges which was fine but later I overheard they didn’t have limes either.) I ordered a one meat plate with sliced brisket, okra, and corn on the cob. The brisket was cold and extremely tough. I’m not sure I’ve ever had brisket I wouldn’t eat again. I combined the fire bbq sauce and traditional sauce to get a fairly good flavor but the meat was almost too tough to chew. Even the toast was cold and pretty crunchy. Ordered 2 spuds with pulled pork. 1 spud had black spots inside that was visible when they opened it. 3rd spud ordered was a southwest salsa with chicken and a side of pulled pork. Received a plain potato, no SW fixings and only chicken. Pulled pork was dried out. Very poor food. This has happened several times during past visits. We give up on them.
