We usually get takeout but have dined in a few times. It's nothing fancy, but good food in a casual, somewhat old school diner setting. Their bread is always warm and the salads are great. Unfortunately, they have few vegetarian options and don't really vary the menu much. Dessert list is underwhelming. Full bar with only a few, mostly American wines, but everything hits the spot! Really nice employees. It's a good, low-key option but could be updated a bit. They don't have real maple syrup or good jams if you are into breakfast at all. This is a place that the entire community appreciates. I commend small businesses like this for keeping their commitment to being a wonderful local option for Wilmette and the surrounding neighborhoods. However, I do wish that they had at least a few vegan entree options. If they did, people like me would visit more often to eat instead of just having to settle with a tea and fruit. 8 of us came in after a change of plans for just drinks and we were greeted by a friendly manager and our server was great. We had drinks and fries. We spent an hour chatting.
