After a walk around Honig Breethuis, many visitors stop by this restaurant. Try the menu of Italian cuisine at Ristorante IL Mulino. Take your family with you and enjoy perfectly cooked pizza, spaghetti and lasagna. According to the guests' reviews, good tiramisu is the dish for anyone to enjoy. Liqueur lovers will find it delicious. Clients don't highly appreciate coffee at this place. There is a magnificent view from this spot. The cool staff welcomes guests all year round. You will pay democratic prices for dishes. But this restaurant hasn't gained a high rating from Google users.

At Trattoria Zaan, the food was average and a bit underwhelming tbh. I must say the pizzas had the weirdest shapes I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant, as you can see from the photos. Despite that, the taste was close to enjoyable. The service was good, and the location added to the overall positive experience. Not sure the chef has tasted Italian food. Nice homemade mozzarella with the tomatoes but no flavour. Beetroot was just powder. Pizza base was soft. Have a great view and is very cozy, just right next to Zaanse Schans before the bridge, I saw it multiple time already so finally I had the opportunity to try it, but my experience fell flat. We ordered simple pasta dishes and beers, unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Our beers arrived, but when my friend asked for shots of whisky to the waiter who serve us our drinks, she forgot, I guess it can happened. What make it so disappointing is that the pasta dishes were served already cold. We were hungry, so we keep eating anyways, we need to continue our day. I took the carbonara, was the Italian version without the kookroom/heavy cream. However that’s not a reason to not be creamy, either was a lack of eggs or cheese but, tasting wise I was eating plain pasta with bacon. Since was very windy that day made the already cold pasta even colder. It became nearly impossible to enjoy the meal. I contemplated asking the waiter to warm it up even though I already started eating it, but nobody came to check on us or ask us how it was our meal. I couldn’t finish my pasta and I eat the pieces of bacon. The service could have also being better. As I said the did not checked on us or offered any assistance. I think is pretty normal to ask “How is everything?” “Do you need anything else?” “Are you enjoying your meal?” And since they were not present or taking order wasn’t possible to just call them. I have to point out that it wasn’t busy, I saw at least 4 waiters and the terrace had plenty of open tables, when I went to toilet nobody was sitting inside beside some workers. If you wonder about what happened with the Whiskey shot my friend did receive it after asking twice, but it was diluted with too much ice. When we finished our meal and asked for the bill, still our waiter did not ask a single time nothing about how was everything, she wasn’t mean or rude in any moment but as I said, I doesn’t mean it was a good service. Very nice place, but ruined with waitresses that are looking like they don't want to be there. Blonde one was nice. For our table of five, 4 waitresses changed, everyone was.doing.something else, and that is the reason why service was also very slow. Inside of this place and therace are very nice. My experience at Diga was extremely disappointing. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty when we arrived, we had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. Once we were finally seated, we waited a further 15 minutes to place our order. Unfortunately, nothing from the menu was available and we were forced to order fries and beer. To our dismay, the staff managed to spill all four beers onto me, ruining my coat, phones, and trousers. The staff appeared to be in a bad mood, making the situation even more unpleasant. To add insult to injury, the manager only watched and the waitress didn't care. We were left to clean up the mess on our own. I would not recommend this restaurant. It's clear that they don't value their customers or their reputation. It's a shame that we had such a negative and disappointing experience. Lasagna was cold and it was too much dough. Not too many options in the menu either. There are pizza, pasta and lasagna. Service is Ok, view is nice. But definitely would not suggest eating here. I wish here’s a zero star rating lol…..frozen pizza from the grocery store is much better…..only thing good is the view…….if you are looking for good food….don’t come here…..service is not that great either….. Picture for your reference. Probably the least appealing pizza I have ever seen in my life……cold….dry….not sure it was even put into the oven…. We were only visiting for a weekend, my mom, my sister and I, back in January 2023... and the first night we went out looking for a place to have dinner and we found this amazing restaurant. We were celebrating our mom's 70th birthday, we ordered a Spaghetti Carbonara and WOW the best we've had in years. The portion was huge, al dente, PERFECT seriously... THE BEST Carbonara in the world so far. And for dessert, we tried Canoli... Delicious!!! And if that wasn't enough, having already had a spectacular dinner, the boy and the girl who served us (I apologize for not remembering their names) gave our mom a box of Canolis as a gift for her birthday. They reached our hearts My mom spent an unforgettable night. Thank you very much indeed! We hope we can return! Friendly waiters, accessible prices, good menu choices. I had the pasta carbonara and really enjoyed it! It was quite a big portion. This was one of the best carbonara I've eaten. I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews, we really had a lovely time. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Everything, from the staff to the service to the exquisite taste of the food, the was on point. Although the Bruschetta was not that great, the pasta that we ordered was a game changer. We had the Paccheri pasta and the taste was somethig which would appeal all taste buds. The show, and however, the was stolen by the dessert - The Tiramisu. The flavours infused with the mascarpone itself, along with the flavours on the plate and the fruits, made it fantabulous. Coming from Dubai where flavours are at their best, it was one of the best we ever had, highly recommended.
