I had been craving a steak sooo bad so decided to give Rocking K a chance and delighted that we did!! I had a mixed drink that I can't remember what it was called but soo delicious. For dinner I ordered the 12oz rib eye medium rare and let me say, I am usually a boujie brat when it comes to steak and only like prime rib but that rib eye was perfect....the amount of marbeling made it soo tender and juicy but also had the perfect amount of sear on it to where it had just enough crust on the outside for that flavor!! The mashed potatoes were just potatoes they knew their place, they were not the star of this plate. My husband ordered the Sirloin steak, which was also medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection, and its presentation was spot on. We will definitely be adding Rocking K to date night rotations! We enjoyed dinner with a friend and found the drinks to be delicious and the food to be good. Their menu does not have filet mignon on it, so I opted for a wedge salad with salmon, which was great! The brussel sprouts appetizer was a little heavy on sauce and a bit salty, but still good. Tonight we enjoyed this place for the first time since they opened because reviews in the beginning were so mixed. I must say this is our new go to for a great steak, ribs and shrimp dinner. We ordered a sirloin steak and the rib plate, baked potatoes and a side house salad (ranch was perfect) Everything including the kids meal my son got was plated great and better than average quality. For my son’s grilled cheese it was on sourdough bread and real cheddar cheese. The prices are perfect for the quantity they serve & quality.
