Well the food wasn't as good as it use to be. Hot and spicy bbq was did not have the good flavor as this place is known to have. Biscuit were extremely dry. Veggies lack a lot of seasoning. Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We had a lovely lunch here and everything we ate was delicious. I’m not sure what the low ratings on here are from because we thoroughly enjoyed our food. I had to knock off a star for Atmosphere because we unfortunately picked Sunday to eat, where my husband and I were stared at by a man the entire time, who then told my husband we were going to hell because of the way we look. He gave us a pamphlet to “educate” us on his religion. The food is amazing I just would not recommend going on Sunday because of the judgmental people who frequent that establishment. The staff was excellent and very helpful as well, just wish we hadn’t gone on a Sunday. We left feeling very uncomfortable and hurt and felt harassed. It put a damper on a family outing. This place has the worst customer service in carry out. They made a mistake on my 84 year old mothers order before christmas.when I called they said they would replace the order so I called today and was hung up on 3 different times and the girl who finally spoke with me got mad and said that I will show you what having attitude with me will get you and hung up on me again. So I drove here and spoke with the owner who treated me worse than the girl who hung up on me. Wow!!!! I use to frequent this place at least once a week . Never again!!! Well the food wasn't as good as it use to be. On top of that I was over charged, the worst part of it is that I was with a group for a party. We all had to pay before we could enter. They accused some of us of not paying came and got our receipts and never gave them back. A few days later I was charged more than what my receipt had said. I was charged 19.50 but then they charged me 22.00 foe what? But since they kept my receipt I could challenge the charge with my bank. I believe they have a new cook staff because the food was awful. The dressing was white as snow with no flavor. The biscuits look like how a toddler make biscuits with playdough FLAT! They were also hard. I can go on but I'll end saying this. The holidays are near and people are coming from different places planning to eat here. Please serve the customers what their money is worth. Everyone has a bad day so I would recommend you eating here. Hopefully you enjoy. Price per person $50–100 Food: 1

Only thing good was the bbq. This used to be the go to spot a long time ago, but now it is mediocre at best. If it's not busy, expect the food to be old. Cold chicken, sweet potato souffle was clumpy and old. Ribs were old and cold. Fish was tiny and hard. Probably will be my last time going there. All time favorite bbq spot in Florence for home cooked food. Today I sent my boyfriend to pick up a plate and they promptly came to his truck to check in and get his order name and take payment. The gentleman went inside and made the plate immediately even though the order had only been placed over the phone a minute earlier. When he brought the order out my boyfriend asked about a bathroom. Wow. I was more than excited to go here to try the barbeque. I only got one photo as I was in awe of how good the food was. I drove to the back lot to park and I knew, if it's this crowded it's going to be good. The woman at the Front desk was so welcoming and greeted my child and I with a positive attitude which is a major plus; she explained the price for the buffet and it's seat yourself. The buffet had a plethora of options. My child is extremely picky and loved quite a bit of items. Especially the ice cream pulled pork and chicken!
