The restsurant itself, visually, is pretty great. Very comfortable, welcoming and vintage. The food? The food was second to none. In any country and or galaxy. The pancakes were perfect. The fries were #1. (I recommend you dip them in ranch). (Just try it). I had the turkey pesto sandwhich and it was a solid meal. The hashbrowns are great too. Highly recommend going out of your way one weekend to just sit in this restaurant and have brunch.

Delicious food. I ordered the pork eggs Benedict and it was amazing. Hash browns were super tasty. Staff was friendly and very kind to get us drinks while we were waiting on a table. There’s not much in the way of seating so there was a bit of a wait. Well worth it though. Will definitely be back! Tom, Kylie and k made our evening most enjoyable! The food was out of this world, the service was out for this world! Strongly strongly recommend it!! We had chicken Marsala, roots crab cake, roots salad, the bruschetta board and for desert we had snickers cheesecake. We have been here several times and really enjoy their creative one of a kind delicious dishes..and friendly service. But on our last visit my husband was a little disappointed in his chicken pot pie. The price was not justified for the tiny pot pie he received in a small ramekin custard style dish. He said it was tasty but not at all filling --and no salad or even a roll served with it. We were both a little taken aback at the tiny dish and how nothing accompanied it. GREAT service and great food. Ordered hash browns on the side with the chilaquiles. They were not moist like I was expecting but they tasted super good !!! You have to come down and try this place. Had the banana bread, French toast. Oh man it was super good. Did not need a drop of syrup. Are omelette was light and fluffy cooked all the way through. Not soggy at all. I've never quite had one that good and it stayed warm the whole time we were eating. The ingredients didn't leak into the egg the way it sometimes can. And everything was proportioned well throughout the omelette. Their sourdough toast is real sourdough something that is hard to find here in Arizona. You have to get the side of sausage. I don't quite know how to describe it. It was simply amazing. Absolutely delicious everything I expect in a breakfast sausage flavor with the perfect texture. I consider myself a lover of all things bacon. The bacon strips are absolutely amazing. I think they are cherry wood smoked and someone took time to find the perfect ones. They're simply incredible. When I bid into the eggs benedict I literally drop my fork and just looked up and stared at my wife like my world had just changed. I'm coming back for more. That's all I can say. Absolutely! Earth-shattering. As for me and my wife, we have been here for the last two sundays and plan to come every week. Roots Eatery is different from most restaurants in Maricopa. They have quality, hand-crafted dishes made to order. There's nothing I've tried here that I didn't like. I highly recommend the Chilaquiles or Corned Beef Hash. Their menu rotates by season, so you may not have the same thing twice. My only complaint is that their seating area is very small and they have a limited number of tables. So if you're looking to dine in with more than 4 people, this probably isn't the place to go. Edit 4.8 stars Honestly one the highest ratings I have given! Man this place rocks! Went for dinner and wow. Salmon was amazing, chicken marsala delicious, Italian fried rice balls so fun! Roots Eatery is hands down the best place to eat! My daughter, granddaughter and I went in this morning for some brunch. Starting off with the atmosphere that was so inviting and the best customer service you could as for! We ordered a Bloody Mary, and a Mimosa and they were awesome and refreshing. We ordered the crab cakes with jicama salad, poutine and the summer salad and a strawberry pancake. Let me begin to tell you that we were very impressed and satisfied. The food tasted so fresh and delicious 🤤, we truly loved it! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
