If you love trying something different, particularly fruit forward wines then this is the place for you. Very good service and nice atmosphere in the heart of Solvang!

Awesome environment and knowledgeable staff! I'm not much of a wine drinker but we were looking to buy some wine for my in-laws and the host really helped out! The fruit wines were great and well priced!

There is no other taste like Royal Oaks wine. It’s a must try if visiting ! Ask for Mayra when visiting. She is very knowledgeable, gives good vibes and is helpful. She really provides a good experience. I now have to take bottles for family gatherings because family asks about the wine. So much so that I became a member.

They were friendly, generous, and helpful. She provided great recommendations based on what we liked most from the tasting, and everything we tasted was delicious. This will be our first stop when we return to Solvang!

Excellent fruit wines. I’m not big on the “Stella” wines so I didn’t think I would like these. Totally different taste. These tasted so good. I got the red/white flight and the wife got the fruity one. Both were excellent and if you like sweet wines this place is for you.

Great wine collection. They have two tasting flights- one is fruit and another is white/red. If you are a person who likes semi-sweet to sweet wines, go for a fruit flight. Otherwise, the red/white flight is amazing and I personally loved that one. However, for or a summery kind of weather, fruit one will be amazing. These tasting flights aren’t that expensive also, Must try if you are in Solvang!!

I have been a wine club member for nearly two years and absolutely love the wine and the staff. One previous reviewer mentioned there were no dry wines; there are dry wines and there are sweet wines. The dry wines include a wonderful Merlot as well as other various wines. The sweet wines are sweet but they are not dessert wines; more like fruit. Both are very delicious, in my opinion, but certainly different from each other. I appreciate all of the staff members and their hard work as they juggle completing orders and assisting customers with tasting. They make it look flawless. I always enjoy my time spent with the staff at the Royal Oaks Tasting room and especially Jennifer's wonderful knowledge of the wines as well as sparkling personality. She is always quick to answer any questions I have and ensures that her information is correct. I will certainly be back and love to bring my friends and family for a wonderful time with delicious wine and enjoyable conversation with the Royal Oaks staff.

My family has been buying these wines for 10+ years. Since I joined the wine club, this is the second bad bottle I've purchased. I called to ask about it and was told the manager was too busy and would call me back. I tried emailing. I have received no reply to either. When the wines are good, they are 5 stars.
