Excellent food, great staff, wonderful atmosphere. Have tried this establishment multiple times and never been disappointed (minus they only had créme brulée available once) so good*. The last meal was a chefs choice, cost was 90 per plate, and it was worth every single bit. The meal consisted of about 8 dishes evenly spaced out over a near 2 hr time frame. Specifically, the scallop melted in your mouth. The steak with lobster was delicious, and the chocolate tart was sweet and filling. We really enjoyed the Italian Cooking Class that is offered! A fun date night & educational instruction on Italian Cooking & Wine with shared recipes and shared dishes to taste of all food items demonstrated. The Italian owners are present for the event as is the Chef of the Restaurant. They have an amazing Prosecco that is irresistible here! Stop in to buy one or three bottles!! We had a delicious dinner - I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the calamari. We tried the prosciutto and burrata appetizer and had a nice bottle of wine. The pasta is homemade and had such great texture and flavor. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and crème brûlée - it was all so good! The atmosphere is really nice and the service was quick and friendly. This is a great place for some good Italian!

My wife and I were visiting Rapid City, SD and wandered in Sabatinos on a random Thursday. Though bustling we were warmly greeted by Chenoa and served bread and water. The wine prices are decent with one high end red at least $80 cheaper than I have commonly seen elsewhere. We shared the mushroom ravioli special which was very good. This is a nice Italian bistro which handsomely achieves its aim with an upbeat neighborhood atmosphere. Some soft surfaces would mute the ambient noise, but it is not obtrusive. We really enjoyed the food. I had chicken Alfredo and my wife had the pesto. Only thing we did not like was the meatball. The calamari was really small for the price. Love the decor and building. We had a fantastic meal at Sabatino’s! Start to finish, everything was amazing and so full of flavor. Hands down our favorite meal of our entire trip. The best part of the experience was our waiter, Jones. He was so kind and personable and made great suggestions for dessert and traveling in SD. Loved the food, the closest you’ll get to Italian cuisine in Rapid City. We made reservations to avoid the wait. My only suggestion is doing something to reduce/control the noise, we had a difficult time having a conversation because the place is very busy. We tried Sabatinos for the first time and loved it. It was a cozy, romantic atmosphere that we appreciated for our anniversary. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was amazing.
