2024 now open for lunch buffet Fri, Sat, and Sun. Checked out the buffet on a Friday. Best thing was they are serving dosas as part of the buffet and they were very very good. They are brought out hot from the back as is your naan. As for the rest of the buffet - it was spotty at best. The samosas were huge, tasty, but a meal in themselves and way too big for a sampling buffet style. The basmatti had seen better days and the remnants of it was getting crunchy on the steam table. The palak paneer was way too salty. The butter shrimp was lovely but I hate shrimp with tails on served in a sauce - take the tails off! The steam table was too hot to hold the chicken tika masala so the sauce broke, although the flavor was good. Skip the chai - no flavor at all and smelled only floral, no spicy scent or taste. The arrangement of the cold table was awkward and things were too far away to reach at the back of the condiment section. The hostess/server was sweet and tried hard to please making up for the misunderstanding with the busser who didn't get that we wanted to take the food we were unable to finish (dosa, naan, papadam, and half a samosa). In good customer service fashion she got us fresh to take home. We will go back and just focus on the things we really want to eat. Used to be good. Very disappointed the last time we went. Appetizers and salads came out with main dishes, only 2 people got meals and the rest of us had to wait quite awhile for the rest of our food to come. Probably won't be returning anytime soon.
