Recently ate here. The wait staff was very friendly and being a bit unfamiliar with some of the menu items, they were very helpful with explanations of the different dishes. Recommended!

I love Thai food cooked in Sawasdee. I know they use fresh and quality ingredients. The personnel are friendly and not disturbing simultaneously—good experience for a decent price.
P.S. It’s funny how people rate this place 2-3 stars only because the dishes were too spicy or not spicy enough. Man! They can’t please everyone! People have various tastes. Do you want them to read your mind?! Just notify the servers about your preferences and be cool 😎!

This is one of the best Thai restaurant in central Pennsylvania. Very courteous service unlike other Thai restaurants on Paxton Street in Harrisburg! The menu has a very good variety of food to choose from. If you love Thai and your less than 30 to 40 minutes away I recommend that you try this place at least once.

We used to come here the most during the pandemic. We went nowhere from 2020 to summer of 2022. I saved $100,000 not going places. I'm one of the few people whose savings rose in past 3 years! However, this restaurant was our go to place for carryout during pandemic. We used to be so excited to drive from Linglestown to Hershey to pick up our Thai food.
We came here last weekend in person and waitress was nice & fast. Food yummy as usual. Restaurant is clean and was crowded at 4pm Saturday.

Well-spiced and filling food at a fair dinner price! Lovely atmosphere. Very clean, waitress was kind and patient. We got there before the dinner rush thankfully and tried the following things:
Green Curry with Fried Tofu: Spicy, as one could expect from a green curry. Tofu has a wonderful texture to it that makes me want to try it again. Plenty of Thai basil and other spices made this dish aromatic and tasteful. Comes with a small bowl of rice.
Massaman Curry with Beef: Red curry, medium spiciness with potatoes and onions. Delicious. Generous portion of sliced beef in the curry. Comes with a small bowl of rice.
Pork rolls: Fresh, crispy, porky. Not much else to say here - you get two per order.
Tom Ka Shrimp: This was a bit of a curveball. Very interesting soup but maybe leans into the seafood and slightly gamey taste a bit too much for me. It’s hard to describe its flavor, but it lies somewhere in the savory-citrus realm combined with onion and a light sweetness from the shrimp meat.
Hot Thai tea: Smells great, goes nicely with the rest of the aromatic food here.
I’d recommend this place to other people for sure, they offer a range of dishes, both curries and pad Thai with vegetarian options as well. Portions are large enough that we took some with us.

Red Curry
We stopped at this place for dinner after visiting Hersheypark with family of 3. Interior decoration is very good as you enter, and the seating arrangement is nice, too. You can smell the flavor once you enter the restaurant. We wanted to try their Thai basil chicken fried rice and red curry. It took 15 mins and was served hot. CFR was good but little sweet. Red curry was spicy as I mentioned them medium spicy. But it was hitting my head but it was the best , full of flavor and portion was good for 2.
We couldn’t finish the curry. They provided the tight container for leftovers. All in all, we will try this place again and will try other dishes. If you are there, definitely try it and good luck to their team !!!

Second time here with guests from out of town. Amazing flavors!
The Curry dishes are so good, that drinking the broth is an enjoyable finish! Our guests said the Pad Thai was the best they have ever had (they have had alot).
Vegetable and pork spring rolls were delicious also. Red Curry is just as amazing! Tom Yum Chicken soup was delicious! Presentation was also a plus.
Pictured is Green Curry with beef/shrimp, Pineapple Curry, and Pad Thai.
Highly Recommend!! :-) :-)
Stopped by quick after local rv show, very nice atmosphere. Have been to many Thai restaurants and this one is near the top of the list for sure. Tried a few appetizers, drunken noodle and peanut curry. All very good standard Thai flavors all around. Will be back if local!

Great little place right off the main road. Place was clean with ample seating. Nicely decorated. Kid friendly. The food was excellent! Vegan/vegetarian options. For appetizer I had the fried tofu and my daughter had some kind of meat on a skewer. For the main entree we both had the drunken noodles. She had it with shrimp and egg. I had it with tofu no egg. The sauce was excellent. My daughter (16) would have liked her shrimp without the tail shell on it. Shrimp were big and looked fresh. The tofu had absorbed the sauce. So yummy! I gave it a 4 star because service was incredibly slow! We waited a while for someone to bring us our meals. Took half hour after appetizers to get dinner. Waitresses were friendly and seemed experience idk why it took so long. Place wasn’t packed. I would go again, maybe just bad night to be fast and efficient. Prices were good. Many menu options. BYOB.
