I can't say enough good things about Set the Bar in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. From the moment we walked in and were greeted warmly until we left full of great food and wine, the experience was top notch all the way through. Zummy and Renee were prompt, considerate and friendly just to the right degree. Attentive but not intrusive. Zummy's recommendation for the Miraflor Malbec was exactly what I was hoping for. Full bodied with just the right balance between fruit vs. acidic. I started with the Lobster Bisque. It had a deep, rich broth loaded with chunks of lobster meat. I opted for the night's special, locally sourced Caribbean Lobster. Served split and broiled to perfect tenderness and seasoned delicately to let the lobster be the star. And it was! My wife started with the salad with the house Parcha vinaigrette. She loved it! For her entree she chose the filet. She ordered it rare and it came out a perfect red, warm center with a nice sear on the outside. She said it's one of the best steaks she's had. We both opted for dessert even though we were full from the generous portions of our entrees.I had the Vanilla Lavender Creme Brulee. Just the right light touch to end the meal. She had the Chocolate Souffle. Deep, dark and rich. Delicious. Make Set The Bar in Aguadilla your go to for any special occasion. And if you don't have a special occasion, make one up!

Creme Brulee
Went to Set The Bar, Aguadilla tonight (on a Tuesday evening). It was kind of quiet but picked up a bit later. Everything we had was perfectly cooked and the service from Zummy and Rene was fabulous. I am so full I doubt I will be able to eat anything tomorrow. Special shout out to the chef for that passion fruit vinaigrette dressing. I wanted to lick the plate! Can't wait to bring our kids back later this spring!.

It's my favorite place to eat in Aguadilla, hands down. Great thoughtfully prepared food. Drink selection is great, and you can do your shopping while there for dinner. Live music on Friday's and great staff.

Burrata Salad
Such a cool spot. Great selection of cocktails and wine. Had an array of tapas including the beef carpaccio, hummus board, and burrata. Some of the best hummus I’ve ever had and the portions on everything were generous. Wonderful service and it was the perfect date night spot on vacation. Would absolutely go back again.

This is the place to go when you want to have a peaceful time, with the perfect wine, tapas and excellent food. The attention of all the staff will make you feel welcomed. I cannot explain in words the great time I always have when I go to Set the Bar in Aguadilla.

Great ambience! The food is amazing, Alejandro was our server and provided top notch service. I like that you can pick your own wine from the little store! It was a bit pricey but it is fine dining, we went a bit overboard with the meals, wine and tapas lol
This place is great. A perfect spot for a date night or to catch up with friends, a chill and comfortable ambiance. Very friendly, professional, and attentive staff. The wine selection was great, by-the-glass is limited but we ended up loving the glass of garanacha so much we got a bottle of it. We only got one appetizer (tuna tartare) and it was the best I’ve had yet. Very flavorful and decently portioned, even the bread alone was delicious. A great experience, excited to try more of what Set has to offer soon :)
This is a great spot with a good selection of wine and liquors, beers etc,,,. You can scoop a bottle and go or you can sit down and enjoy. They have a menu which changes constantly as the chef brings in small amounts of fresh seafood. Oysters, mussels and steaks, lamb chops all depends on what he can bring in. The chef is innovative attentive and professional. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The decor is modern, clean easy on the eye. They have Lounge chairs small table settings to accommodate small groups. I’ve been to this place several times the food and service always on point. I like this Chef he’s always on point and you can actually see the excitement in his eyes when he describes his weekly menu. I’ve tried the beef tartare, oysters, Bronzino, lamb chops, assorted cheese plate to mention a few all good. Definitely recommend I will go back.
