This is a true deli and bakery through and through. We were excited to try and loved it so much we came back two days in a row. They have heaters outside for diners HOWEVER we were very displeased with the service outside. They were dismissive and every patron that sat down took 10+ minutes to be catered to for even their drink order. This happened to us both times since we sat outside both times. They are the forgotten tables. Luckily the food comes out speedy quick. We ordered the potato latkes and pastrami sandwich. WOW!! To die for. We ordered the sweet and sour soup one day and the chicken matzo ball soup the next. Both equally amazing. There is something great about the sweet and sour that is different than the chicken. Must try. We also had pickles and sour kraut. We couldn't get enough! For dessert one day we took away the coconut pie. The second day we dined in and had to try the tiramisu. We could not decide which was better but they were both delicate and outstanding. Major portion sizes. We will come back!! Can’t say anything bad about this place. Food is great and so is the space. It gets a little loud but such is the case for any thriving business. Food portions are big. There’s a huge selection of sandwiches but the pastrami is what they’re known for. And don’t forget to try their matzo ball soup. Yum!!! Crunchy pickles are the perfect way to start pretty much any lunch or dinner and then everything else especially their chicken soups with choice of noodles, rice or matzo ball are the perfect 2nd added course then whatever else you get will be perfectly prepared to enjoy! The waitress Sandra was super nice, she took care of us and was always around topping off our ☕ coffee mugs. The food was also great, I had the French toast with sausage links. The french toast was really good with maple syrup. My wife had the eggs Benedict and the potatoes were really good crispy. The portions are huge so keep that in mind when ordering. The Matzo Ball soup was phenomenal! Next time I would order just a cup of that soup. The Sesame Chicken Salad was also great but I was full after the soup. The French dip was alright in my opinion. I would love to come here again and try the pastries!
