We were able to squeeze in a visit to Signatures while on a recent trip in Winona. Many people we talked with spoke very highly of Signatures dinner menu. We were short on time so we ended up eating there over the lunch hour with the lunch menu. One of the great things about Signatures is the wonderful view especially with our seats situated next to the window. The view was very enjoyable even being a winter day seeing out over the golf course and the beautiful bluffs of the area. We did a quick sample tasting of the menu including fried pickles, the soup of the day, siracha chicken sandwich and pot pie. Of those choices, we thought the pot pie was the best of our choices with great flavor and a very nice crust. Overall, the food was good to very good for this visit and we look forward to going back to test out the dinner menu that so many people rave about. Severely disappointed. As a server myself in rochester, I was excited to share my birthday experience at this restaurant. We came in for reservations @ 4:30pm. The restaurant was completely empty & we had to flag down our server named Emma to order. Waited over an hour for our food (there was 6 of us). I had asked our server on her opinion of the 8 oz. sirloin, all she said was “good”. I ended up getting the 5 cheese ravioli, came with 4 pieces of ravioli with no cheese. As a wedding photographer, I had a wonderful time photographing my clients wedding day at Signature's! It was a very spacious venue, hard working staff, and a variety of options for bride and groom portraits. If you're eating at the restaurant, get the Walleye Tacos. THEY ARE A MUST HAVE!
