I love the cupcakes. Some of the workers can be very short. I was recently very disappointed in my birthday. I went in for a dozen and had no idea they were closed on Monday. That's on me for not checking but I was still disappointed. Oh and the prices of the larger cakes are outrageous. I can't figure out why. $60 for an 8 inch cake? I went in on New Year’s Eve about 10 minutes prior to close not expecting much. Tammy the owner was so kind. The only cupcakes left were red velvet and a chocolate cake. So we took them both and it was by far the best tasting cakes. My grandma is 94 and said it was the best chocolate cake she has ever had !! I would definitely recommend without any hesitation. SmallCakes is a culinary treasure! Fresh cupcakes made daily! It’s taken me awhile to actually buy a cupcake from this amazing locally owned and operated shop! I was greeted warmly by the owner, Tammy, who answered my questions on some of the choices. The store is spotless and adorable.. So many cupcake choices even ones for puppies! The hours posted now on the Yelp page are incorrect.. closed on Monday- they open at 11am Tuesday-Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.. I definitely have a sweet tooth but I only like cupcakes that have a filling! Yes, they offer a Coconut Cream Pie and a Boston Cream Pie Cupcake that has a delicious filling! I ordered the Coconut Cream Pie cupcake. I couldn’t wait to get home to try it! Absolutely the most delicious cupcake I’ve ever had! The cake itself was so moist and full of flavor. Not too sweet. The filling was creamy and custardy.. Bavarian cream at it’s finest! Light and creamy! Whipped frosting amazing! I literally ate it standing in my kitchen-never got to the table.. Fresh, moist, light, full of flavor and the texture was perfect! Cupcake Heaven! My only regret is I didn’t get 2 of them and a Boston Cream Pie Cupcake… definitely next time! I was literally mesmerized by the variety of cupcakes offered! Even Gluten Free! They also do custom cakes, wedding cakes and so much more… I’m definitely a fan and will be singing their praises for a long time! I highly recommend!!!! They are in the same plaza as Target! Easy parking!!
