This place was hitting! My server was very polite and respectful, the service was overall great! The food was awesome! Those ribs were falling off the bone! The meat almost melted in my mouth!!! Upfront, I'd like to say that I seldom have reason to give anything other than "good" reviews. Only once before have I felt the need to give a "bad" review...until now. This is #2. I arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 pm. tonight, and placed my "to-go" order for " two pulled pork plates". The cashier asked, "Two pulled pork plates?", and I confirmed. The receipt shows the order was paid for at "18:35:05" (6:35) My order was brought to me at 7:15 pm. I drove 6 miles home, and we sat down to enjoy pulled pork. At first bite, it was obvious this was chicken..not pork. Since we had already started eating, we didn't think we should pack it up to return. In retrospect, I wish we had. I called to tell them we didn't get the right order. The girl apologized and said she'd tell her manager, but she was busy at the moment. I asked that she please go on and tell her. When she came back to the phone, she said, "My manager said she is sorry..it must've been 'miscommunication' Merry Christmas."! Whaat!? Excuse me, but most food establishments..even burger and pizza takeouts, make some offer in return for their faux pas. Therefore, the reason for this "bad" review. My cousin's birthday party was held here and almost everybody got a steak I got something else because of my budget but I have been here a Fair bit of a lot of times and I have always enjoyed it and the people that I'm around. The parking lot is Old Fashioned and the owner once in a while will be sitting up front and he will greet people as they come in.
