My children took me out for my birthday. The food was very good and our server was very friendly and on top of things. They had a special Sunday menu with some nice selections. My daughter had the shrimp and grits. She said the dish was delicious. I had the Brisket Sundae. It came out in a sundae cup and was more than enough food. And the brisket was cooked perfectly. The other 2 hand pulled pork which is always delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere. The bathrooms were not the cleanest. Food was very good and the sauces were also great. I had the Irvine Rib special and the ribs were fall off the bone and just so tender. The Baked beans were great and I was also able to try pulled pork and pulled chicken, both very good. Loaded Parrott l potato was good and the garlic bread while tasting good was not very crispy, a bit soggy in fact. There was music playing but I didn't find it that intrusive and was able to converse with my entire party. It's a kid friendly atmosphere and the full bar has specials every day. The service I had was not great. The wait staff seemed eager to get rid of us and never broke a smile until she bid us farewell. We called after her for a glass of water, but she had already turned and left. The food was a great stand out and I will still recommend the establishment for anyone looking for some very good barbecue. Place was clean and staff was friendly and observant. Freshened up our drinks without needing to be asked. Wings were good with a good sauce flavor. Pretzel sticks were hot and soft and served with a good amount of cheese for dipping. There was a good smell of smoke in the air when you walk through the doors. The pulled pork sandwich was unimpressive. The pulled pork was chewy with very little smokiness or bark on it. There was also a large chunk of fat in the pulled pork. My parents went here for their 29th wedding Anniversary lunch and the food was AMAZING!!!!! From door to table everything was absolutely perfect and Crystal their server helped them have the most amazing meal they ever had and Dad was able to cut the steak with a fork and everything was seasoned perfect!!! Went for a late lunch and it was almost empty. Service was fast and the server was very pleasant. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
