Our visit to Spicewood BBQ in Alpine was great. The food was amazing, BEST chicken fried steak we've ever had!!! The view from the back patio was beautiful. Definitely recommend! Steak was perfectly medium-rare and wife's fajitas were incredibly flavored. Definitely recommend. Good drinks. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff! I had the nachos with brisket which were tasty, especially their cheese sauce. I loved the brisket so much that I ordered the brisket sandwich to go for dinner. The bartender, Carlos, was friendly and extremely polite, and he made a great Moscow Mule. A diamond in the rough. If you blink you will pass it! Once inside, all smiles and a great welcome. Little to no wait time. Staff is quick to get your drink order and allow you to see the menu. Food server was very pleasant and gave us the plate of the day and possible recommendations. Food was served fairly quickly with no mistakes, the restaurant was very open and very clean. The music was not loud, the atmosphere was good. Our party was well taken care of, our glasses were never empty. Very well priced, can't wait to visit again. Thank you very much!! See you soon.
