A local attraction - Museum of Culpeper History, which is situated near this bar, is a part of the original culture of the city. Have nicely cooked philly cheesesteaks, fried chicken and prawns at Sweet Roux when you happen to be near it. If hungry, come here for good waffles, chocolate cakes and ice cream. Went there for the frog legs, they were seasoned just rite and cooked great. Service was also good. We also had a medium rare burger and it was cooked just right! Definitely a gem to check out Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was excellent. We had tacos and our son loved his Philly. The margarita flight is definitely worth trying. The staff was friendly and accommodating. At one point a different waitress came over and gave our daughter some crafts to make bookmarks. We are definitely planning on returning to try more food. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I am a quiet diner and I finish my food very quickly, I don’t really need any service besides just having my order on the table. But being asked if I am done eating every two minutes was not necessarily a good experience. I was quite confused when I was asked if I need the plates taken out when it’s was very obvious that all of my plates still had food in them and the fork was still in my hands. Also the wait staffs seemed extremely suspicious of me passing drinking age even after I showed them my ID, they sent a second waitress to serve my drinks while staring at me and I was very uncomfortable. Came in for dinner, ordered the fried shrimp as our appetizer and it was good, ordered the Ribeyes for our meal, sat for 45 minutes waiting on our food, then comes he waitress “so, I have bad news..” then proceeded to tell us that they were out of ribeye, because a table ordered 6 of them, didn’t like them, sent them back and requested replacements (which sounds dumb?) but isn’t a big deal, but waited 45 minutes To tell us that they gave all of their steaks away to the complainers, we changed plans and decided to eat elsewhere, it was just a generally irritating experience Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
