Amazing spot. We got there late, and were there only the one time...so my opinions are a bit thin on sample size. Late enough one guy was basically hosting the whole house. ALSO, I ordered a 'bucket of chicken and waffles' which takes 20 minutes. Time well spent. Though the wafflecame out first (only 1) and had time to imbibe moisture and lose a bit of crispness. If you don't know, they all do this. The chicken was great. I don't tend to eat skin much, so I can't report on coatings, etc. BTW, didn't need dinner. I think it was the left side of that bird. This place is really a gem for Ft Pierce. There are not many good diners down here, but this place is the exception! Great friendly staff. Their food is really good, and they have a pretty decent sized menu for both breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend giving this place a try! Ashley was amazing. she was very tentative n up beat and so very kind, she made our experience amazing.. this was our 1st time my husband and I ever eat there n I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone.. hands down the best food n atmosphere was beyond words. Man what a nice place to eat. The hot chocolate was the best. The server was awesome. They have funny things on the sign. My friend says the ribeye is killer good. I wanna try the Mac and cheese. I want to try the chili. I wanna try the dessert. I like sweeties. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When this place first opened, they were awesome. I was a regular. I'm not sure if they have new ownership, but the menu is just white bread sandwiches and frozen chicken wings now. It used to be more of a southern home cooking cuisine, that I looked forward to. It was nice to go and get a good meal, but the menu and food is horrible now. The sign out front is a complete embarassment to Fort Pierce. I really hope this place gets sold and bought by a real restaurant owner, not the raunchy people that are currently in charge. It's funny how only "some people" can practice freedom of speech in Fort Pierce. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My husband and I have been eating at Sweeties since they opened and it is our home away from home! The food is outstanding, the staff is warm and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I also want to mention that the restaurant is kept very clean and the grounds are manicured. When my sister and her husband from Tampa visit us, they look forward to eating at Sweeties at least once.
