I discovered this place on my way to the IHOP in Garland. It is just across and it called my name. Ive only been there about three times and so I cannot vouch for all their menu items. You walk into a rather large dining area with plenty of seating. They draw your construction crew workers in their fluorescent vest along with local office workers. The menu items are displayed above and they all look delicious. The street tacos are delish. On this Sunday I opted for the menudo and it did not disappoint. It had lots of meat and not laden with salt as most restaurants do. I also noticed on the menu lamb dishes, aquas frescas, elote in a cup, and churros. If you are tired of biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak, dare to be different and veer away from IHOP and check out Nuevo León.

Food is delicious as always. I recommend going to Tuesdays to get the special of 99c trompo tacos. Shout out to the man who gave me a sample of charro beans. Even that was amazing. Service is immaculate.

Wow. The food was amazing. You order at the counter and we weren’t sure what we wanted as we were not expecting that, so I got three different tacos, barbacoa, trompo, and chicken. All three were awesome. The corn in a cup was delicious too. Really great food. The barbacoa was a little greasy for my wife, but I liked it, and I’m writing this review. 😉. We’d certainly eat here again when in the area and looking for great food at a great price. Staff was very friendly and on top of keeping things clean and delivering food promptly and friendly.

Trompo Tacos
Great place and price wise not bad.
My wife and I had lunch here and food is really good. We ordered 3 trompo tacos, 4 tlaquepaque tacos, 1 empalme and 2 aguas frescos. Our total was $33.00 Dollars not bad at all. The desebrada empalme got lots of meat and the flavor is awesome! Tacos de trompo got lots of meat and just the way supposed to be well cooked and the tlaquepaque tacos full of barbacoa and the salsa without a dough real good in flavor. We definitely will come back again and recommend this place 100%
