Food was excellent. Service very spotty. Dining room wasn’t very busy but felt rushed. Bead basket pretty much dropped /tossed on the table. Meal brought and took 15 minutes for vegetables to come out. Server never asked if I wanted another drink. Will go back but probably eat in bar area. Service much better there. Can't get enough of this spooky restaurant! The portions are always big and everything tastes great. What sets them apart is their atmosphere and service. Cannot wait to go back! This restaurant is a very small noisey restaurant. It used to be known as the stagecoach inn. No ambiance. The wait staff is not trained in alcohol service. They lie to you thinking you don't know the difference between coffee liquor and Kahlua. You send your drink back knowing it is coffee liquor and ask them to remake using Kahlua. The waitress brings it back and tells you she filled it with Kahlua. NO SHE DID NOT. She refilled it with coffee liquor cuz she thinks you are dumb. The original waitress then tells you that ran out of kahlua. I had it taken off my bill. Next time be truthful with your customer and tell them the restaurant does not carry Kahlua. All this could be avoided. Next..kitchen chefs over cook the lazy mans lobster. Very hard to cut and chew and drowned in butter. Broccoli under cooked = cold and hard. We will never go back to this restaurant. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR WAITSTAFF IN CHECK ON TABLE. WAITRESS NEVER CAME BACK TO ASK HOW THINGS WERE. AND ALSO TRAIN IN ALCOHOL KNOWLEDGE. ARE THEY TIPS CERTIFIED?? DOUBTFUL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THERE ARE BETTER MORE KNOWLEDGABLE RESTAURANTS THAN THIS ONE IN RHODE ISLAND.
