I love bourbon. The bourbon here is pretty good. Drinks are good. The service is good but they left us sitting a long time without any information.
Unfortunately, the kitchen was a mess. Took 45 + minutes for our food to be served. The burger was dry as all get out. Someone from the kitchen came out to apologize saying the chef had to leave and it backed up the kitchen. I can sympathize but it was a birthday dinner and kind of ruined the experience. They comped a couple of desserts which were good. I’d go back to the bar for a drink but dinner was just a bad overall experience and i’ll avoid the dining room going forward.

Wow definitely different. Alittle expensive but worth it. You have to try the Full Order Flight. Burger and dumpling was really good. Our waitress Alexandria was excellent.

We've been here twice and had an amazing experience both times! The staff is excellent, friendly and has great knowledge of the products that they serve. The menu is wonderful, it makes me want to order one of everything! My personal favorite is the chevre dumplings. Wonderful place for a date night or friends night out!

Dumplings and Korean Fried Chicken
Blackband is my absolute favorite place to go in Peoria. The Chevre Dumplings are to die for! They are smothered in a rich creamy sauce, that almost seems to dissolve in your mouth. I also had the Brussel Sprouts, which were perfectly seasoned and had a slight crispiness. I'm not sure what the name of the deviled eggs were, but I think it had a slice of sashimi on it? I would not have expected that combination to be so good! We will definitely be back to explore more unique meals. If you are a person who likes to explore the world one plate at a time, start at Blackband. You won't be disappointed!

This is a nice hidden gem in peoria. The food is very unique. It was good but we were not blown away like we were expecting. Overall the food was bland and underseasoned. The crab cakes were not good..very dry, bland, and tasted like old crab. The portions were small as well. But the fries were the best fries I think I've ever had though.

Love that they promote local and use local farmers and other businesses in their own. Beautiful building, great drinks, great service. We really enjoyed the food, standouts were the san fran noodles and the lamb ribs. We enjoyed that we could get many small plates to share. Prices are a little more than average for Peoria area, similar to a dinner out in Chicago, but when you have better quality food it costs more. Dessert was the only dish that was a let down. Great date night out, definitely not the best place for a family dinner with kiddos.

Very cool place. The tour was phenomenal and full of Peoria's distilling history. The story of the present day facility. The way they source everything they use locally and that there is little waste is tribute to their stewardship and commitment to the area and their desire for longevity. The spirits are pleasing to the palate and the location draws the eye. This business wants to be a gem in the local landscape and they deserve that distinction. I highly recommend the tour and tasting and a craft cocktail at the bar. We will be back soon to try the food too.

We had the best date night at Black Band Distillery! Their new small plate menu is phenomenal! The dumplings and bone marrow were some of the best dishes you will find in Peoria! My husband and I ordered 4 plates to share and a dessert and I couldn’t finish the desert! We also each had three cocktails and each one tasted just as unique and delicious as the one before! We were very impressed with the quality of the service as well. Our server described every ingredient in each plate and even knew where a lot of them were purchased from locally. This remains the most unique and impressive spot for our date night!

We had stopped by for a cocktail before, but this was our first time getting the full culinary menu. The food was incredible! The menu is along the lines of small plate / farm-to-table restaurants in bigger cities, something that Peoria really didn’t have just yet. They have a changing menu depending on what they can source locally, so we are so excited to go back and try more dishes. Cocktails were unique with lots of options. Marco was a great server and so friendly. He really made our experience great. Hope to have him again in the future. Definitely our new favorite spot!
