Such a cool hometown bar! You must check out The Barking Spider for a fun time, great drinks, and awesome conversations. The staff and customers are so friendly and offer great tips on local events and things to do in the area. Bring a dollar bill with you to write a note on it and have it hung from the ceiling to mark you visited this iconic spot! Thank you, Tim & Julie, for kickin’ it with the Candlewood Lake, CT girls this weekend! You made our trip so memorable! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you find yourself in North Creek, and you’re looking for great food and a great time with a small town feel, you have to go to the Barking Spider. We rolled into town after a LONG hike in the Adirondacks looking for some food and a place to stay. Our bartender Julie was so personable and genuinely felt bad when we mentioned everywhere was full, she took it upon herself to help us find a place to stay other than the back of our Subaru. AND SHE CAME THROUGH!! Cannot recommend this place enough. TIP YOUR BARTENDERS Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
