Absolutely loved the food!! The service was 10 out of 10. My only complaint was that the seating was beyond uncomfortable. Loved the drink menu is was fun and delicious. Took 15 minutes to be greeted by a server. Unknowledgeable/forgetful staff. As you can see from my REALISTIC photo of the food, its not good. $20 for 3 pinky sized pieces of fried cod. Exscuse me, “Colorado” Cod… laughable. Paid for a mountain of carbs if anything. When I ordered, the server said “GREAT choice!!!” What a joke. Drink was $11 and very mid. Also the kitchen charges you a service charge on top of your bill. They think their that special? Look at my picture. This place sucks. Emma gets 5 million stars— she’s a great, attentive server. Food also gets 5 stars. The tuna poke nachos and the cinnamon roll bread pudding were out of this world. But someone PLEASE tell the bartender there that good drinks are BALANCED drinks not just straight up booze!! I had to ask for soda water, limes, and simple syrup to fix my cocktail because it had no other flavor than booze. :( Management should set standards for staff to measure out or batch signature cocktails for consistency, because this free pouring isn’t working. This was a fun food experience! First of all, the location is very clean, friendly staff and great seating options inside or out. They give you a blast from the past with menus printed up as old time news papers. Now, let’s talk food. We ordered the Patatas Bravas as an appetizer and Colorado Striped Bass fish for the main course. Everything came out pretty fast and looked amazing, but the flavors were next level! We watched tacos go past our table and cinnamon rolls stacked with nuts and so many different fun drinks to order. Loved this place, not terrible on cost but so much value in experience and food quality! I highly recommended this place to anyone and would return on my next visit to Golden Colorado. We make a point to eat here when in the area. Cool atmosphere, great food and great service. Chase, our particularly good server, recommended the bison meatloaf which was SO good, we ordered it again the next day. The agave peach crisp dessert was amazing as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Buffalo Rose is both fun and beautiful for weddings and events. In the heart of Downtown Golden, there is so much charm and elegance surrounding this venue. As a photographer, I had the opportunity to capture one of my couples' special day here and I would recommend this location to future newlyweds. I hope to be able to return in the near future! I think the best we had were the dip appetizers - the artichoke dip was really great. The rest is fine but nothing to run here for that we got. Atmosphere is nice especially outside.
