As a Denver resident, this is a bit out of the way, but it is worth it. Upscale British pub fare, a lot of people do not know what that means, but what it means is a lot of attention to detail.
You can’t really go wrong with their food. The 14-day house brined corned beef is the best in the front range. The Reuben is to die for, only warning is sometimes it has a lot of sauce (1,000 island) whether that is your thing or not.
The beer selection is unique, the whiskey selection is sprawling. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and cozy. I love coming to the Burns in the Winter especially.

I really enjoyed eating here. My only complaint is the 14oz. "pints"
I came for the Shepherd's Pie. I ended up having some Lemon-Shallot Chicken Wings for a starter. Sweet and a little spicy and very tasty. I followed that with French Onion Soup ( recommended ) and a salad. The Shepherd's Pie was very good; a correct choice on my part. Though, it was a difficult decision as there was Beef Wellington and a Seared Scallop entree; both of which I wanted to try. Next time, definitely. Any place that serves Creme Brulee will get me eating dessert. Theirs was an Irish Cream creme brulee garnished with fresh strawberries and I was NOT disappointed.
I will definitely patronize this place again if I come to Denver.

The burns is an excellent restaurant with amazing food and drinks. When it comes to going here for a family dinner, the burns is always on our list as a place to go.
However, don't plan a happy hour here. Unless you have a definite number of individuals you know will be attending and don't mind combining checks. My work is very close to this place and when we said we didn't know how many people were joining us for happy hour, it was the largest inconvenience to the staff. We estimated anywhere from 8 to 15 people....every time someone new showed up, were were asked "how many more people do we expect". Then, when some of us needed to leave early, they said we could split the bill.... After a little bit of talking we were able to split a few of us off so someone didn't get stuck paying for 15 peoples worth of drinks. Cashing out 3 of us was less than 3 minutes in total time and we spent more time talking about not splitting the checks than just doing it. If you are looking for a company happy hour that is near this location, Hops & Drops and Four Noses is more happy hour friendly locations.
I plan to come back to the burns to enjoy their excellent food and drinks with my family but I will never recommend happy hour here again.

First time here recently and safe to say this is the best fish and chips I’ve had in Colorado. Very impressed with their beer and whiskey selection, and the waitress gave great recommendations! Absolutely will be coming back here.

Brought some of our favorite cousins here today, we had the best service ever! Sarah was fabulous, she suggested one of the best beers I’ve had I a long time- the snakebite! , she also suggested the seafood mash- which by the way was the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten! This was the best place we’ve all been to. We will be back sooner than later and will definitely ask for Sarah’s section!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. After a really terrible Friday at work, decided to stop in and get a to go order. BOY am I glad I did.
This place is FANTASTIC. I wish I had dined in. While I waited I sat at the bar, they have an IMPRESSIVE selection of whiskeys. I want to go back just for that some time. Alas, that’s not what this review is about.
So my food was 10 minutes old by the time I ate it. It was still fantastic even then. Scotch Egg and a Reuben. Both were amazing but the scotch egg really hit the spot. They need to sell them in dozens, I’d eat just those.
The Reuben was amazing as well but I feel it’d be better if I ate it there. Which means it’s one of the best Reuben’s in Denver, it was even lukewarm.
I cannot WAIT to go back here and try something else. The nice woman I chatted with at the bar had something that looked like a traditional UK style dinner (meat and potatoes), it looked wonderful as well.
I’d say this is on my top 5 restaurants in Denver; easily.
Go her.
