I just picked up order. Lady took order didn't speak good English. Anyhew, she had my name wrong. I got home & my chimijunga burrito, wasn't fried. I spoke to night supervisor. He told me to bring back. I explained I'm 8miles away, & didnt feel like driving back. He was rude & said if I didn't bring back today, it must be right. Night supervisor @ Gardena restaurant need some more training. Unbelievable service. Check your food before leaving. Evidently He must be on a bike. As high as gas is.... Friendly staff and delicious food. I ordered chicken rice and beans with a green sauce and cheese. It also came with two tortillas. I didn't want the cheese and they were kind enough to fix it for me when the message did not get communicated. It was my fault for not being more clear, but they were very kind about it. The food was wonderful. The chips and salsa were good and the service was really great even though we arrived a half hour before closing. I took my left overs to eat later they were really yummy! NOTE: This review is for the sit-down restaurant BEHIND the takeout place, which rather suspiciously doesn't appear on Google Maps... First, how hard is it for a Mexican restaurant to get a drink order right, when I'm ordering a margarita? Margarita, straight up, salted glass. What I got had ice. I sent it back, and got half a glass with no ice but also no salt. On top of that, these aren't margarita glasses, but something generic that you might serve soda in. Then comes the carne asada burrito. Overall a good combination of flavors, but the meat was tough and had gristle in it. My impression? Run, don't walk, to Chili's instead. Or Fantastic. Their wet burrito blows this one out of the water. Update: I skipped lunch at this is dinner is the ONLY meal I had today. It's now closer to 1AM and I'm still up with severe acid reflux and I'm seriously considering hugging the toilet. And mind you, this is from a guy who loves spicy food especially Korean and Indian. I used to go to the original Burnt tortilla ages ago. This is the first time going to this place. This place has a lot of seating. We had to ask for a waiter to take our order. Also the place was very loud. I could hardly hear my friend talk with some children screaming and adults talking. I got the green chile enchilada & chicken taco that came with rice & beans. It was very good, especially the refried beans. The green chile enchilada was also excellent. The pork was very tender. It seems we had to get the attention of the waiters to get to go boxes and get the check. There was an employee who did open the door for us on the way out (my friend uses a walker) so that was appreciated. Next time I'd like to try eating on the bar side. It might be quieter. Normally it's always a great experience and food is outstanding. But this time on Saturday, my order was wrong after waiting for the new employee for 10 minutes on the phone to give me my total and they weren't helpful when picking up my order.
