Overall a nice little place but overpriced for what it is. It was quiet when we were there. Service was fast and pleasant. My wailing chicken sandwich was great but the $3 up charge for frozen onion rings seemed kind of much although they were hot and crispy. Husband got pizza which wasn’t done in the middle which made it less awesome than it probably could have been. It needed at least three more minutes. Celebrating 39 years of marriage: We think it's 28 years (counting the year Hawk Creek was closed) we've been coming here to celebrate our anniversary. Once again great food, but with drama: I was thinking the Statler Chicken entrée or the Bleu Burger until I saw the sides with the seared pork chop - chipotle succotash & cauliflower purée. Our server, Leeann says sorry, we're out! So I order the chicken. After awhile, cool & unflustered Leeann (she was working the entire dining room alone, hosting/server/bartenders & bussing) comes back with news that the chicken order before mine was the last, but I could get 2 smaller chicken breasts at same weight, ok. Then she asks if I wanted the same sides, oh I can get different sides, are the sides from the pork chop available? She checks the menu, says yes they are & wa la: Statler grilled chicken breasts with chipotle succotash and cauliflower purée. And that was all before we mentioned the coming out 28 years for our anniversary. Rating the service at 5 stars seems like a crime, Leeann was super & not just with us; efficient, pleasant, on top & personable with every one - she should be paid for two servers wages & management matches her tips for today! 😃 BTW: the Truffle Cheese Bread is quite possibly the best appetizer on the coast. 😃 😊 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This Cafe is a great place to stop by. The pizza was amazing! It was fresh, no oil and had the best crust. The service was wonderful, quick and the server was very attentive and nice.
