Food was amazing, service was excellent!! We ordered drinks to start the night, which came out as ordered. My date just didn't like hers and they brought her something different and took that off the bill. We would have paid for it since it was right, just not her taste but they wouldn't let us. Had a great night here. Beautiful place with a great atmosphere. We had brewhouse spicy avocado egg rolls for an appetizer, which were creamy and absolutely devine. I had the filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked medium rare and had a rich buttery taste and was extremely tender with a delicious baked potato mash and green beans. My girlfriend had the keto steak tacos that were delicious, but the steak was very chewy. We had a cheesecake drizzled in caramel, which was delicious, and tableside smores, which was lit ablaze upon placement on our table that was very rich and decadent. They had a few beers from around kansas (craft brews) and a myriad of mixed drinks (the italian expresso martini was my girlfriends favorite). **NOT A LICENSED KOBE BEEF RESTAURANT** so charging $20+ for it is just crazy. Considering it's fake and your paying for a fancy name. Which seems to be a recurring theme here. As a food critic I was hoping for better. Really thought the 3rd time was the charm. As for local food? I mean it's the closest thing to "fancy eating" this corner of Kansas can get to I guess. Overall the food was over cooked, over salted, and way over charged. Slapping a fancy name on it doesn't give you the right to charge people twice it's value.
