This place just hasn’t quite hit our expectations yet, and, am not sure we will be back until the weather is warmer. Opening in November when it’s all outside is a bit tricky, I’m sure. However, we were incredibly disappointed that the heaters they advertised having on social media just didn’t do much to help keep you warm after dark, even sitting right next to them.
Also find it disappointing to have all beverages served in plastic with no glass options, and to have any beer after our first not poured to the brim—we we shorted on every cider after our first, but were charged the full amount on what was basically a half pour.
We didn’t try the putt putt- they do have glowing balls that make it fun but all the holes looked very flat and basic- not something we really wanted to have to pay for 3 people to do.
Bathrooms were pretty clean, one even has a changing station and the live music was good. (however, there was a very strong sulfur/sewage smell once you approached the building the bathrooms are in).
We didn’t try the food ourselves but others there said it was good.
Live music was good, and staff was friendly.
It’s also a dog-friendly venue.
Overall, it’s pretty disappointing compared to Barrel House, but, we are glad they are here and wish them well.
This was a real fun experience! A place we played 20 years ago reimagined. Mini golf, plus bocce ball, chess, corn hole, brewery, food and more! This will be a weekly destination for us! Hole in one for me. Excited for the tournaments coming in the spring
Finally, this location is open and it was worth the wait! The 'Greens' by the Gypsy Circus company is much more than great hard cider (voted #2 best cider in the nation by USA Today!). They also have great beer brewed by Atomic City Brewery and plenty of bar food to snack on. In addition to what you can taste, this location of Gypsy Circus has 3 putting courses where you can putt-putt while enjoying your adult beverages and listening to a great mix of music. They have live music in evenings on weekends and great choices of recorded music even when no live musician is there. Also have games like cornhole and life-size chess. Be aware of their limited hours for now during this 'Soft Opening' (now Thurs thru Sun. afternoons & evenings) until their Grand Opening early 2024. Check it out!
We've been waiting months for this place to open and it definitely did not disappoint! Food, drinks, and games. three different putt putt courses, giant chess, giant beer pong (trash cans and volley balls), corn hole, and lots more.
So much fun, great beer selection, 3 putting courses and other free games, live entertainment, fire pits, and more. They have really put a lot of love and care into this place and I am so thrilled to have something fun and recreational in Oak Ridge again.
