Stopped and had breakfast after dropping my baby off at mancelona veterinary (highly recommend Dr. Dale) decided to try the Hens Den since I ate at the restaurant next door last time I came through. Waitresses we're really nice. Got us coffee right away. Came back placed our order. Food came back fairly quickly. My eggs were just right. Hash browns and bacon were cooked exactly how they should be. Not too hard. Not too soft and they tasted so good. So kudos to the cook. You nailed it. The only thing I felt uneasy about was the locals. You people acted like somebody pissed in your coffee this morning. Hopefully the afternoon would be better for y'all. One thing I know for sure is I'm not going to look in Mancelona for a place to live. It's off my list Lol As for the Hens Den they deserve a stop for some grub! PS we also enjoyed the cozy decor.
