I wanted to love this little food truck so bad. I live about a minute up the road and drive past it daily. Made a mental note to self to give them a try when I was in the mood for “fast food” so that I can support a local, small business. We ordered a wide variety of menu items and nothing was spectacular. The burgers were just ok, the fries were mushy as can be and barely warm. I’m thinking they may have been precooked for a while. The onion rings were mediocre, the hot dog was ok but the chili was flavorless. Even the kids didn’t enjoy their food. I see a lot of 5 star reviews so maybe it was an off day but with that said, I never really see anyone there. Often times the owners are sitting at the tables waiting for business and can’t help but think some of the reviews may be from friends or family. I’m certainly not trying to bash the business but you need food that’s going to keep people coming back. It’s easy to get a customer that’s driving by but you need to make them want to come back. I hope it was just an off day for them and that they can stay relevant and in business. If I ever try them again, I’ll update the review. I went to the meeting place about a week ago. I had a chili dog and a soup, both were very good. John the owner was very personable and I could see how clean the trailer was.
