I have been wanting to try this place since a friend mentioned it to me. I was charmed from the moment I walked in the door. It was open and cozy at the same time. The table set up is reminiscent of a Paris café and the housewares are on tables you wander through like an open-air market.
The coffee menu is not extensive, but rather a curated selection of unique options you won’t find at Starbucks. I had a hard time choosing which delicious treat to try from the beauties in the case. I ended up with a ham and cheese Sammy that took me straight back to Denmark.
I took time looking at all the wines and found some favorites and many that were new to me. They have weekly tastings and a wine club, so I will definitely be back to try those out! Amanda was really informative and did not get annoyed with all of my questions.
The entire store was clean and neat. It really reminded me of shops I have visited in Coronado.
I will be back!!!

Wine and coffee! Plus there’s a whole bunch of other stuff like snacks, hard kombucha, and gelato. The staff was super friendly and gave me a bunch card for my coffee. I love bunch cards. It shows they value your loyalty. Coffee was very good too. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful Place, Gina is Amazing !! Beautiful line up wine tasting Fridays and Saturdays. I had a great Saturday at modern cellar, tasting Paso Robles.
Modern Cellar is a Hidden Gem you have to experience that i highly recommend

I love Modern Cellar! Lots of wine and the staff will help you choose. Wine tasting nights are my favorite. Gina, the owner is awesome! I also go in the morning for their coffee from Amanda. I buy a lot of cheese from them too. I highly recommend going to Modern Cellar.

This place is a hidden gem! Great coffee and an amazing selection of bottled wines. They also have fun novelty items that make unique gifts. Friendly customer service and wine tasting. What more could you ask for?
