Our BBQ was great, but the fries were overdone. It has a old country restraunt feel to it. Definitely worth a stop for lunch or dinner.

Intimate barbecue joint is the self-description of their business. Intimate parking is more accurate. NEVER any parking every time I go there. Waited 20 minutes for a parking spot to open up and when I finally made it inside to pick up my food order it still wasn't ready. Old female owner/manager was so sarcastic about order not being ready. They don't care about new customers so I will happily never go back. Plenty of parking, better food, and better service at Molly Goodheads across the street.

Best Southern BBQ we've ever had! We took our friends from out of state here for dinner after a manatee encounter outing so naturally we were hungry. We all ordered two full rib racks (for two each) and wolfed down every bite. The meat just falls right off the bone, so tender! The sauces are outstanding, we all agreed the sweet one was our favorite. BBQ beans on the side are excellent as is the cole slaw. For dessert we had the amazing banana pudding. Very satisfied afterward! Friendly service made it a wonderful experience. Oh, and both our friends and us ended up ordering a full rack to go!

This afternoon we planned on an early dinner at the “Pig”. We usually have a reasonable experience there, but today was a total write off. We were seated outside, not even 4 pm so not busy and waited for 30 minutes watching the waitress walk past us multiple times, ignoring us completely as she was too busy chatting up her tip with a bunch of Mexican loudmouths.
We walked out, I told the “manager” what happened and informed her I would use social media to express my displeasure with their choice of employees. Being local, I know better establishments to spend my money at, and the Pig is no longer on my list.
I would not recommend this dive to anyone. At this point. The food is mediocre, the service terrible and they are suffering from competition next door with loud music. We ended up going to Ozona Blue instead and although more expensive, the experience was a thousand times better than eating in the Pig.

Tried out this BBQ! Food is pretty good. Large portions prices pretty fare. Only small tiny problem, which I'm sure is just me, steak was a tad bit tough. Will return! We enjoyed!
