Stopping on the way from the Bay area to Big Surr, this place was perfect. My partner needed a place to take a work call, and though it was a bit too loud for that, the atmosphere was awesome. We didn't end up getting any coffee, but I bought a bottle of wine - the shop has it's own in-house sommelier! The food looked great, but can't comment personally on that. My main take away was: cool vibe, lots of purchasing options, fun plants & decor, and cool employees: the barista even commented on the book I was reading, The Pearl! *SPOILER* I will say, the barista did say it was a lighter book for Steinbeck, but a baby gets poisoned in the first 3 pages! What! Anyway, you should go here!

The lemon poppyseed muffin was amazing!!! I also got the avocado toast and a cafe au lait and both were so yummy. The coffee was strong and tasty and their avocado was so fresh!!
The plants made the atmosphere so fun. Definitely would come here just to plant shop . We came around 7:45am and no one was here. The music was good too btw

A cafe straight out of a solarpunk fantasy. The Power Plant sources their pastries and breads from local bakeries; you'll see those displayed near the front entrance. As you head towards the back of the store, you might notice racks of preserves from Gizdich Ranch, wines from California vineyards, and the like. The shelves snake around the indoor seating area and give way to a greenhouse-esque boutique filled with all kinds of plants. Every green thing that isn't bolted to the walls is up for sale.
