This place is amazing! As a newly vegan,, I'm missing the flavor and seasonings of what I ate for so many years, I'm so happy to have found Red Fern! The taste of their food is delicious I had a "Compost Plate" Alkaline drink, cheese and fruit tray & my daughter had a Buhdda Bowl! We were not disappointed at all. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had take out twice now and loved it even more the second time. The garlic focaccia is amazing, and highly recommend the Harvest Salad. Maybe the best salad I've had, ever! The staff is so kind and I love the vibe. Planning on dining in very soon!! Also AMAZING desserts!! First time experience at Red Fern was fantastic. Prompt, friendly service, homey atmosphere, reasonably priced delicious food & drinks. Street parking may be a challenge but certainly not a deal breaker. I'd definitely recommend Red Fern whether your vegan or not. Stopped by Rochester to visit a friend. So happy to find this cute cozy fully vegan cafe. We ordered the baked mac n cheese, gumbo, and buffalo bleu. Our fav was the buffalo bleu. Really liked the sauce and focaccia bread. Baked Mac n cheese was also good but the seitans were with a bit too much seasoning. Gumbo tasted more like chilies in my friend’s opinion. Overall the service and food are great. The place was a bit small but very cute and “hipster” vibe. The food was beyond amazing. Unlike anything I’ve tasted. Pretty much 100% of the menu could be made gluten free. I tried there GBLT with gluten free bread and sweet potato. Oooo, I also had their gay sugar cookie and chicken salad! The cookie was super , (maybe even too), sugary, but yummy :). The salad was HUGE , $10 and worth everything 😍 the “chicken “ was 100% GF and super flavorful. The sweet potato was cold but very flavorful mush, (kinda like mashed sweet potato), so keep that in mind if you were hoping for fries!! Let me start off by saying that the service was excellent, and everyone was so attentive and sweet. The food itself was just ok, a little bit hit or miss. The chicken bacon ranch salad was amazing - Mac and cheese would be a skip for me if I came back. We tried a few deserts and they were also so so, brownie was very good, cookie was a little hard and not super flavorful. Red Fern is one of my FAVORITES in Rochester! 🫶 Their food and service is top notch and I love the fact that they have so many options to cover a wide range of dietary restrictions.
