I thought they did as well as they could, and everything fried was delicious, ranging from the fried okra to the fried shrimp and everything else in the Seafood Platter to the fried catfish, they all tasted great and definitely worth a try. This was a very popular spot so I had no doubts that others found it worth coming back to. The shrimp and grits were great as well and the grits cakes was a great idea because the cream along with shrimp, sausage, and herbs was able to fully immerse itself in the grits no matter how much grits I had decided to include. The Seafood Platter was very economical and only cost $28 which was good for the amount of seafood we had gotten. The only thing that was very sloppily done was the broccoli that accompanied the catfish, as it was soft, watery, and overall a bit pathetic to chew (sorry), but I understand that among all the meat, broccoli was just a side dish. I would still suggest putting some more attention into the vegetables, though, as someone may care about it. Foe those in Biloxi, I would recommend this spot. It is also located next to the sea which is another advantage as well! We shared the crab dip, very delish but super filling. Had some gumbo which was also pretty tasty and we were stuffed. Prices were kinda high here compared to other local spots we have tried. Came here on a beautiful sunny 72° day. Had an awesome bloody Mary and a delicious plate of au gratin potatoes. Only problem was I asked for a medium rare fillet mignon steak, but it came out nearly "blue". Came out perfect after a re-fire. We enjoyed a delicious lunch outside on the deck, the view was beautiful, service was good and fast. The food was good, atmosphere was lovely and clean, and the service was prompt. The raw oysters were huge with great flavor! I got the flounder with the crab cake, very healthy and light like I wanted. My boys got kids meals and enjoyed it. My husband liked his shrimp boiled. We tried the fried alligator and pickles and both were fabulous, not dripping with grease or soggy. Very fresh! We went to the Sky Bar at The Reef to have some drinks and appetizers before heading to another event. The restaurant and bar were full, so we went up to check out the Sky Bar - we LOVED it and will just bypass the restaurant level next time and head straight on upstairs! I love that the bar is super long so there was lots of seating there, plus plenty of tables and outdoor options as well! The food and drinks were all delicious! Food was awesome! I’ve only been once but everyone in our party of 7 was delighted with their choice. I can only rave about the creole pasta but plenty of great options. And we liked the multiple levels. Bar upstairs w outdoor patio to overlook the water on a nice day. We went up to grab a drink and some starters while we waited for a table, which wasn’t long and we were rewarded by our patience with a delicious meal and friendly staff. First time we came during the week so service was faster. If you go on the weekend be prepared to wait about 2 hrs for your food. Though we were given a table quickly the food took awhile. Great views overlooking the beach. Great food and decent drinks. They didn’t have much alcohol in them though. Oysters were good Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Important Details GOOD: The service, view, restaurant wow factor, and salads BAD: Nothing much - a great experience but we only had the salads The Reef will hit you like a ton of bricks when you pull in - a Giant painted fish tank (incredible, see pic) They have great views of water and a need clean, board walk that should be experienced. The salads were A+ - huge sloping bowls with piles of toppings that assures you nearly never get a mouth full of lettuce. The also provide plenty of dressing. The Reef was a great experience - enjoy!
