What an amazing place to go. The bar staff are all very warm and welcoming. A great place to come and have fun regardless of your level of karaoke skill. Can easily make new friends here as everyone is always so happy here. The bar manager Frode is a really great guy with a lot of experience and so much energy. Thanks for every great night spent here. It was actually pretty fun, the sound system is decent, you select songs via an app, so the catalogue is huge. So what else do you need in a karaoke? 😊

Best place to sing karaoke and very nice and talented staff. If you also want to meet excellent singers, this is the perfect place to go (even if you aren't really in to singing but you are in to listening and enjoying the night).

Costs hundred krones just to get in... This is a karaoke bar not a club. Looses a lot of customers with this. And the guy who is supposed to run the karaoke just prolongs the wait unnecessary with dance music in between. You have to decide if you're a karaoke bar or not.

It’s so weird that people comes to sing and have fun and then you have an employee that not only not smile to you , makes a mad face all the time, rude to many customers not only to my group and push you when she takes a glass more then once.. From the entrance until the end was really terrible. Not the first time I go there and I feel like that with some rude people who works there. (The bar tender today was super sweet thank you, it’s not you) Definitely last time I’m giving a chance to this place. (5 times and every time ).

Best place for public karaoke in Oslo. The sound system is good, and there is also a professional DJ behind the board. It's a bit tiny, so not suitable for larger groups.

Fun bar, but the bartender was rude and consistently mentioned how much I was on my phone and had poor service as well. Sorry lady, this is a karaoke bar and I’m just trying to find a song. Karaoke vibes were okay, but not the most fun I’ve ever had.

Awesome karaoke bar!!!! We tore it up while on our trip to Oslo and had a great girls night out. People here are very nice and friendly and they have a great music selection. It’s a smaller cozier venue which I liked.

While the place is small and unsuited to larger groups, The Star is a brilliant place. As a karaoke pub it can be classed as a little upscale. The atmosphere however is welcoming and the staff is friendly. A lovely place to drop in to if you happen to be near the center of the city
