Took 2 1/2 hours to get our food for 2 people and there was only 1 other table with a couple at it...we were told they had alot of to go orders and they only have 1 lady who does all the cooking!! And the food was not good after the wait I am sorry to say this place is a big "NO" we even seen tables walk out!!

Came here for dinner. The bad started when she brought my diet soda and it tasted off, like the syrup bag was out. She brought me a can of soda with ice instead. Just change the damnn box of soda out. Because I ended up having to pay for the owners laziness. When I needed a refill, she brought another can and charged me for it…but there’s refills on the other soda. Got French onion soup and the ribs and steak dinner with a salad. The dinner said it came with a soup or salad. I had already ordered my soup and she didn’t offer to use my soup for the soup that came with the meal. Since I wasn’t in the mood for salad, most of that wasn’t eaten. It was what you’d expect for a dinner salad though. French onion came out in a crock with cheese melted. The soup taste was very good, however there wasn’t much for croutons or onions in it and the cheese layer was thin. I still thought it was decent because of the broth flavor. But then my ribs and steak came out. The steak was cooked perfectly! BUT there was zero flavor. I added lots of salt, pepper and A1. I moved onto the ribs which were completely inedible. The fat was so chewy that I couldn’t even bite into them. They looked so meaty when they came out, but it was all fat. The waitress, who I think was the owner (based on her personality), asked if they were okay, I explained they weren’t good. She didn’t really say anything. So why even ask? She states in other negative reviews to bring it to your servers attention if there’s an issue. I did that. I also barely ate any of my food. She didn’t offer to make new ones, didn’t offer a bill deduction, didn’t offer an apology. So why bother asking?? My aunt ended up getting chocolate cake for desert. It was so old that when she put the fork in, it crumbled. She took it home because she’s too nice to say anything. This was our family’s first time here and we won’t be going back. I’ve heard a lot of terrible things about this place and still took a chance on it, just to be disappointed. We should have left as soon as we walked in and the place was like a ghost town at dinner time. I see she responds to 1 star reviews very rudely so I’m sure I’ll get the backlash for this instead of the owner just owning the fact that her restaurant is going downhill due to her own doing.
Edit to add since they of course responded like the typical nasty establishment they’re known to be. In business 22 years, but the place is empty and they’re known for how nasty they are. And yes, you’re correct, the ribs pulled off the bone in one big chunk as they were connected by nothing but fat. I also stated I enjoyed the French onion soup, but nothing else. Believe me, I wasn’t looking for a price deduction🤣 I’m not a cheap a$$ or I wouldn’t have ordered that awful meal. And you’re correct, there was no pleasing me with that meal. It was terrible…but continue thinking you’re a wonderful establishment full of wonderful employees. Brothers buffet in Pottsville has also been in business for 23 years, it doesn’t mean they’re good is great. But it’s certainly better than what we were given at your establishment. Maybe instead of jumping to be nasty to patrons just because they leave a bad review, take the criticism gracefully and improve upon it☺️

We ate there tonight and the food was excellent. We both had the stuffed haddock special. Highly recommend this great place!! We will be back. Our server was very nice and friendly also. Keep up the great work and fantastic food!
Pros: Steaks are awesome, and BIG, tender and juicy !
The fresh cut french fries are the best I've ever had out hands down.
The Wings are crispy, but could be a little less crispy to be perfect in my opinion by just a tad.
Obviously with no crisp, wings would be undercooked.
Con: Last few times I've been there I've waited a hour for my food.
But the food is worth the wait, just pointing out expect to wait a bit ..
The only real complaint is the chairs are hard like a rock, and that makes waiting for the food awful.
The tables seem oddly a bit low compared to other restaurants I've been to, so it's a bit annoying.
I think if they purchased new tables with comfy chairs this restaurant would be the perfect place to bring a date, or a business meeting, or just sit and talk with friends and enjoy your night until the food arrives .
You won't be sorry trying their food.

Very friendly, the waitress was new and she was doing such a good job but she is only one person and it was getting packed! There were 2 tables seated when I arrived, and 2 more within 20 minutes after that! She had all 4 of our orders correct! She was very apologetic about the wait!
We went there with a party of 6 and we all had different meals. All of them were cooked to perfection. The steaks were juicy and delicious ,and my burger was awesome. The haddock was really good as well.
Cozy place with good food. They have specials available. Cheese steak pictured. Nice bar area too. Very friendly staff. (Our hostess was Shannon. ) there is a 25 dollar minimum for debit cards though. For my wife and I to eat and each have a drink it was just under 25 bucks. We were there on a tuesday so it wasn't too busy but I understand at peak times it does fill up! Enjoy!
My wife and I ordered from the small portions menu. My chicken tenders were really dry but the fries were good. My wife's buffalo chicken wrap was bizarre in that it was cold chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce which was not what she expected. The three others in our party liked their entrees, two of which were steak and the other seafood. However, the biggest issue is that they had only one waitress which caused the food to come out very slowly. The restaurant side is very cozy and was decorated beautifully for Christmas.
Foods always great. Owners n staff pay attention to their customers needs. They are friendly and polite. Knowing the majority of their repeat customers by name making for a warm friendly atmosphere with excellent food. I recommend captain Mike's seafood special.
