We’ve been coming to trefzgers for years and love all their baked goods. The simple round cake we get for birthdays and celebrations are always decorated beautifully and the quality is great. We also love the turnovers, cookies, and cupcakes! We also celebrate Mardi Gras each year with a king cake and it’s always a hit! I ordered a cake for my wife's birthday. All white cake, with a raspberry jam layer in the middle. I asked to have a custom hummingbird put on top of the cake. Trefzger's did a fantastic job and my wife loved her cake. I had no doubt that they would do a fantastic job as they always do. I even used them for my wedding years and years and years ago. The cake was fantastic, the icing was fantastic, the service, and the fact they did it at last minute. I can't say enough good about them and their staff. Free WiFi+ restrooms+ right room temperature+ plenty of tables and free seats. Aesthetically pleasant building in loft style, great staff and food. I am surprised this place is not full of studying students. Maybe, because the bakery doesn't serve fancy coffee. Otherwise 1000% worths visiting. Made me feel sorry I am leaving Peoria.
