To order nicely cooked steaks is a really nice idea. Get your meal started with good ale. If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is creative at this restaurant. Nice service is something visitors like here. When inside, the atmosphere is exotic. U RYBÁRA is ranked 4.8 within the Google grading system.

Ate again today after a long time. it was a dream. We had steak and pasta/fish/ribeye steak, the salad dressing is amazing. It was very busy and we were served well and quickly. Thanks

I ate here a number of times whilst staying with friends near by. The food is fantastic with everything cooked to perfection. Andre and his team are attentive but at the same time leave you to relax and enjoy the food. Can't wait to return.

The fries and baked potatoes were extremely salty. Otherwise the food would be delicious.

Wow. Simply amazing food. Think no more, and have your meal there, really. Take any steak there - pork, chicken, turkey, you name it - and your taste buds will just keep a huge smile until you finish these huge portions. And it has the cool cozy family place vibe too. As an extra hint, we modified our travel plan to come back another time and this is my first ever googlemaps restaurant review..

Owner’s nice and friendly, we got a room booked with lake view, restaurant served with fleshy fish in reasonable price. Very recommended!!

Super friendly staff who served a first class meal. The portions were huge and the price-performance ratio was great. The restaurant offers warm meals even after arriving late after a hike. German is also spoken here.

U Rybara is the perfect place to spend time in Orava. The rooms are well equipped, clean and cosy. We had a beautiful view on Oravska priehrada from our window and balcony. The restaurant is without hesitation the best here. Fabulous steaks, duck, wine... the chef cooks with love. We could see it in the taste and size of the portions. Would recommend 100% to everyone. We will definitely come again as soon as we can.

This place offers only a few meals. Portions are quite big (eating mine was beyond my ability), oily, taste is average and prices are not high. There is a terrace, which I advise to choose, in case of good weather, because you can smell fried oil inside. Service was not one of the good ones, they had only one menu which was passed between tables and waiting time was more than 30 minutes.
