I went in tonight long before they were due to close and they had no ice cream available because they were cleaning it, and the staff was very rude to inform me that I needed to step out of the way for them to mop. I asked to confirm when they close and they said in about an hour and a half! Why could I not order ice cream at a united “dairy” farmers?? The staff here is always rude especially “Sutone” never smiling and never welcoming. I will only go to this location when it’s necessary from now on.
Much of the staff is unfriendly. The ordering kiosk should NOT be the only way to order ice cream! The roller grill and hot food area is empty everyday I stop here. Just go down the hill to the Harrison location until these people figure out how to run a UDF.
Forced to use kiosk to order ice cream. 3 team members standing there, looking at you, no other customers, but won't take your order. What happened to customer service and interaction. Plus you can't pay for your ice cream thru kiosk, you move to another line to pay cashier. Crazy. Hope the owner responds to their reason for going this direction. You are losing lots of customers!
Giving 3 because the employees are nice, would otherwise be a 2. The icee machines have been continually broken for the past several weeks, and the roller grill is frequently empty at midday. Frustrating, when that is what you rely on when working outside in the heat all day - a nice slushy drink and a hot dog, lol.
The ice cream itself is great. The service leaves something to be desired. Also, please inform your customers that they need to order their ice cream on a kiosk. My elderly mother was in the store waiting for employees to take her order for ice cream (typical way of doing it) and the employees didn’t acknowledge her or inform her she needed to use the kiosk. Just wanted to let others know that if you’re not comfortable ordering from a kiosk this may not be the place for you, I suggest going to any of the Harrison locations, as they don’t make you order from a kiosk.
My special needs daughter went to order her ice cream when it was her turn and they told her she had to use the kiosk to place the order and walked away. She tried but she wanted something special so she had to ask for additional help. The lady came around to the kiosk and fiddled around with it to come out right. It would have been so much easier and less embarrassing if they would have just taken her order. We won’t be back
