Our daughter was up super early on Saturday and I googled best bakeries in the area thinking a donut trip would allow others to sleep a bit more. We came upon Vesuvio Bakery and it did not disappoint. Gino greeted us at 5:15am with a friendly smile and great conversation. He was so welcoming and told us details about the area, beaming with pride when he talked about his family. The variety of dozen donuts were great and the coffee cakes were fantastic. Light, fluffy and excellent flavor. It's a family run bakery, that also offers Italian sausage or beef sandwiches, pasta, and other great food products. Stop in and give them a try, but not on Monday It's the only day off they get.
