Had an amazing time at the Waffle House !! Our waitress Sarah was PHENOMENAL! She read the group well, and made it such a fun experience!! She was so great at her job, you could tell she was passionate about it! And making sure you had a great experience!! And food was delicious! All the other workers were awesome too!!! The food looked and smelled delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. Unfortunately, the restaurant was so filthy we couldn’t sit there after ordering drinks. The floors were caked with food, trash, and sopping wet in spots. The bathrooms were awful. The sink had food chunks in it and there was feces all over the toilet seat. Staff was informed but unconcerned. We love Waffle House, but the conditions were absolutely deplorable. The pictures are two small examples of the debris and condition. James on the first shift is an exceptional rock star! His genuine care and enjoyment in his job shone through, creating an awesome dining experience. The outstanding food, from perfectly cooked waffles to hashbrowns covered, smothered, capped, and diced peppered, along with fantastic eggs and delicious apple butter with raisin toast, made the meal truly enjoyable. We went to the store #933 on October 8, 2023. At 1150pm. We arrived with people waiting for a table which is understandable. But there were so many dirty dishes on tables ands on the counters. We were waiting for about 20 minutes and people started walking out of restaurant. When it was our turn and Once a couple got up I went to the table and was stand next to it. The person that was supposed to be our server was cashing out someone and started giving me and our group a dirty look. But other than addressing us the server ignored my group and told the couple behind us that she was clean the next table to server them. After about another 10 minutes she comes over to the table I am standing at and disrespected me. She stated in an attitude “ are you waiting on a table” and I replied “yes ma’am.” She immediately replied “I can tell”. After she cleaned the table she stated welcome to Waffle House. I said thank you. I shook my head and she ask if there was something wrong and I said no it is okay, we She states this is Waffle House and this is what you get. She asked what to drink and we all replied “ could we get waters please” and she said please and thank you take you a long way. At this point was wife was done. We told her that we would go to a different Waffle House because of the disrespect. And we left. I have been to the location #933 so many times because we do to kings island all the time and we always had a great experience. We had a solid experience during our recent visit this past Friday night. We were a little nervous walking in because one of the employees was a little upset, but the situation was quickly calmed and the staff was surprisingly apologetic and kind to my partner and I. We were able to choose our own seat which we really liked. The tables weren’t the cleanest, but this is a Waffle House and we weren’t expecting a fine dining experience. It wasn’t dirty to the point where I was grossed out or unable to eat. Our waitress was very sweet and patient with us. She didn’t get mad at us for taking awhile to decide what we want (it was our first visit). Our food arrived quickly and was surprisingly tasty. Our hash browns were so crispy and delicious. My partner’s bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was one of the best he has ever had. If we ever find ourselves back in the area for a visit, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
