First time in my life I've ever had a problem with the food at a Waffle House. I came in after having a tooth pulled and couldn't eat right away, but wanted food for when I got home. Didn't think to check when the bag was handed to me because why would I, Waffle House has never done me wrong before. When I got home an hour later, I noticed my hash browns were missing a bunch of toppings and they were very skimpy with what they did give me, and it was swimming in half an inch of grease. The waffle was the only part that was correct and worth eating. I tried to call the store to find a solution, but their phone line is now an automated message saying they don't take orders over the phone, no way to talk to anyone in the store. I submitted a complaint online that said it was supposed to be shared with management asking for a refund on the hash browns and I've been waiting almost a week for a reply. I'll just talk to my bank about it since I can't find any way to resolve this with the store, I'm certainly not driving back to Benton to argue with them about it. The food was excellent! It was my first Waffle House experience ever and I was impressed for real! The server's was on top of it. Not one customer went without a refill or the offer at least. To me that's an important factor I consider when I pay the check. Everyone was friendly and even though my meal was someone else's treat I'd give it 5 stars all the way across the board even if it hadn't been. I would recommend this Waffle House location to anyone looking for a good breakfast at least and I'm sure from the food I ate their lunch and dinner menu items are just as good. I'll definitely be visiting them again and I'll update this review as well according to how everything goes. So far Great job you guy's keep up the good work and I look forward to eating here again probably be one day this week! If you haven't tried their BLTs you need to...they are great. It's a little bit of an inconvenience that you can't call in a carryout order.
