I highly recommend going to Welly’s Marlborough if you are around. The money you spend totally worth it. The quality and freshness of the food was amazing. The portion of food was enough, not extra, not less. The staff are very friendly and caring. I will go back there again soon.

The service was good. We were seated at a small table on Valentine's Day in the back next to the service area for the waiters. Our waiter was courteous and respectful but didn't go out of his way to go above what was necessary. The food was good. I ordered Lindsey haddock with broccoli, and the broccoli was not hot. My daughter had steak tips with broccoli (her broccoli was hot, but her well-done meat still moo-ed). The food was flavorful and neatly plated. She took her steak home and after nuking it for two minutes, it was still juicy. The clam chowder was superb! If I could give 6 stars I would. Have never found a restaurant like it. So many options for so many different palates. The pasta is to die for, the burgers are so tasty, the steak is so juicy, and don’t even get me started on the appetizers and specials they have. My favorite restaurant so far. The staff is friendly, the ambient is comfortable, the food is amazing. If you ever go to Marlborough, visit Wellys! And get a Carbonara with Angel Hair, you won’t regret! My family had a really great experience with stellar service. One member of our party was not thrilled with the prep for his dish and was comped for the price of it. The rest of us were more than happy with our delicious meals and drinks. Street parking at this location could certainly be more plentiful. First time dining at Welly’s with a friend. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived but the food and service was spot on. There was a large table next to us without about 9 people that were being loud and obnoxious but that wouldn’t deter me from coming back. I was there last night (Tuesday August 15th) for my best friend’s B-day dinner. E-x-c-e-l-l-e-n-t EXPERIENCE!! We were on the hunt for a lobster roll and decided to try Welly’s. Very pleasantly surprised. The lobster roll, French onion soup and cauliflower were all delicious. The soup had SO much depth and flavor. The side of onion rings could have used a bit longer cook time and a dash of seasoning but who’s complaining about onion rings. Friendly server, welcoming spot. Very welcoming and the most pleasant staff! Kathleen my waitress even brought a dog bowl and water for my pooch. Plus it smelled much better than the neighborhood tavern and the view is great! Great service, very nice atmosphere, great patio, but the food was ok. Started with the chowder. When the bowl arrived it had a thin skin layer on top, and had to add salt and pepper to enhance the flavour. Had the fish n chips as the main course. Nice piece of fish, and I liked that the breading wasn’t very thick. Unfortunately it didn’t have any flavour either. The Tartar sauce and coleslaw were tasty and that helped the flavours. Waitress mentioned that the cashew chicken is their specialty, so I might try that next time.
