Didn't even get the #11 chicken with the cheesy bun in the advertisement, all I got was a random burger 🍔. Kinda annoyed because that meant I spent an extra 6 dollars for a nothing burger, going to continue opening the food in front of them so I know my orders are right from now on if I need to. During my recent road trip, I stopped at the Wendy's restaurant on the turnpike Interstate travel stop. While the service was slow and the food was mediocre at best, I have to give credit to the workers who tried their best to make the experience better. Although I wouldn't recommend this particular Wendy's for a quick meal, I appreciate the polite and attentive attitude of the staff. Not much to say about a fast food place in a truck stop, but the coupons in the mail sparked a desire to go, and the food was awesome. My only complaint was one of the food preparers not having a covering on his long locks or his 5-day-growth beard. That didn't stop me from enjoying myself, but come on...you're working with food! Upon placing a mobile order, I arrived at the restaurant to find 5-6 cars at the drive thru. As the purpose in placing a mobile order personally, is to be able to grab and go, I decided to go inside. I stood for several minutes while others got their orders, finally the clerk just turns and looks at me, no greeting, I stated I had a mobile order, again she never speaks other than to say, Tracie. She then conveys the order to the cook whose response is, I'm not going to hurry. That's what you want to hear when you're at a fast food restaurant. The food was good but the overall employee attitude needs a lot of work. It used to be the friendliest Wendy's I've ever been to, not sure why or when that changed.
