Went to Whelans beer and wine for the first time last night. We had such an amazing experience. Mike was so sweet & friendly and recommended some new wines to me. Such an amazing environment. Great place to go drink and relax. We will definitely be coming back! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chardonnay

So happy this spot opened up! Great place to bring in some food and grab a beer! I used to go to McGinty’s and Astrolab (same owners) when I lived in Silver Spring and always loved hanging out there. Greg and Emma, the owners, are some of the nicest people you’ll meet and I hope Whelan’s brings in a lot of customers. Another perk is buying beer or wine to go and actually being able to get a couple of COLD six packs!! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
