I went in with my friend because I was craving a baked potato! We ended up ordering that, macaroni and pesto bread. We enjoyed our meal and our server was really nice! Ill start off with the food: the food was very mediocre. I had the calamari steak. The calamari was overcooked, resulting in a chewy experience. It was also salty I had a burger. It was also very mediocre. The burger was also a bit cold. Service was bad. 30 minutes for the food to come out, and we were the only people in the restaurant. Water wasn’t refilled until I asked. Made a reservation for 2 for our anniversary. We were seated directly in front of the doors, behind a 20 top party of drunken bros who had an extra bottle of crown royal, so the ambiance was already shot. Then, the bar didn't have the ingredients to make their signature cocktails. The bartender was able to craft a different drink that was nice, but the steak, brussels sprouts, and mushrooms were bland and soggy, definitely not worth the $$$. Dessert was also bland. Came here for a birthday party on a Saturday night. We had the private group room and about 15 people. We had a great time. The staff was very attentive and courteous, and they put up with our loud, energetic group! The food was very good, the drinks were strong and overall it was a very experience. Wonderful food and atmosphere, however our server Pancho must have been new. We were there around 3 p.m. on a Friday and there were only people at two other tables and a few people at the bar. After we ordered, we had to check and see where our food was 40 minutes later. He was not attentive and almost never checked on us. We found that disturbing since the restaurant was practically empty. We were celebrating an event and the person being celebrated was upset. They had been there many times & had excellent service before. We DID receive a significant deduction on our bill given by management, which was much appreciated. Again, the food & atmosphere were top notch! The pictures show Filet Mignon & Pork Chop. I did not get pictures of the sides that came with the pork chop as they were served much later. Re: Willard Hicks in Morgan Hill We were at Willard Hicks for Mother’s Day brunch today. Had no reservation, and were very lucky that they had one last table available for a party of 7 - albeit counter-high chairs. Worked very nicely for us. We ordered a few appetizers, and then entrées. Baked Brie Coconut Crusted Shrimp Cheese and Charcuterie Board (we requested them to remove all cured meats) And for entrées, we got Spicy Asian Mambo Steak Burger Poke New York Steak Grilled Swordfish The Baked Brie was just amazing. Served with some house chutney and two types of bread. Everyone loved it. The Charcuterie Board was a big hit on our table. The various types of cheeses, as well as figs, high quality dates (they had removed the pits), grapes, some sort of mustard chutney and candied walnuts. I ordered the Spicy Asian Mambo. It was not much spicy, but they had used an Asian sauce which made the flavor pop... The filet was nicely done. The burgers are actually huge. They had a big piece of filet meat in them, which makes them an interesting challenge to eat. Those who ordered them were barely able to finish half of their burger, and the rest went into to-go boxes. By the way, the French Onion soup is extremely filling and can function as an entire entrée. Swordfish was excellent. We requested spicy siracha sauce, which made the taste get even better. The service was very attentive and friendly. They were able to make several accommodations to the food as there were a couple of food sensitivities in our group. Wonderful experience for our entire group. This was our only second time here. The first time we came was several years back when WH had just opened and the experience was bit under-whelming. I so badly wish to be able to give this restaurant five stars, but my food needed seasoning. I ordered the scallop risotto, and the texture was great, however, it was tasteless when I ate beyond the scallop medallions. Beyond this, I loved my drink, the appetizers, the service and the environment. My all-time favorite appetizer, and probably the best thing I’ve eaten in a while were the fries!

Love a nice steak house with a casual atmosphere. Location had indoor, private room and patio seating all beautiful in it appearance. Service was great and quick. Drinks were good. The food was good. This location also plays a variety of old school music. No complaints here. Dinner last night. It has been about one year since we last ate here. First thing I noticed when the our orders came, the portions were smaller. I had the sticky rice with chicken. Good but chicken was a tad on the dry side. Wife had the steak burger and that sure has gotten smaller. Too bad. I guess it is the times we live in now. Spend more $$$ for your meal and get less of it. Overall it was ok. Will not be rushing back to eat here anytime soon. The wife wanted to take me out for a birthday dinner and since this place recently opened up in town I decided to give it a shot. The restaurant is conveniently located right next to the parking structure downtown so you should easily be able to park nearby and walk to it. Decor and ambiance are nice as the restaurant has a decidedly upscale feel to it. The night we went they had a DJ playing which at first I thought was strange but ended up being cool as he played a nice mix of 70's and 80's classic hits. The food and service were good. I had the Filet and my wife had a Ribeye. I was a little disappointed at the size of my steak especially compared to the size of my wife's Ribeye. But the flavor was good. We especially enjoyed the jalapeno cornbread side dish. The prices are definitely on the upscale side but not too outrageous. We would certainly come back again for an occasion dinner.
